Are the major arcana more important than the minor arcana?
More weighty, not more important. A major arcana card points at something structural — a beginning, an ending, a choice you will still remember in ten years. The minor arcana carry the daily detail that actually makes those turns happen, and a reading without them is often vague.
What does it mean if a reading is mostly major arcana?
That the question is bigger than the situation you asked about. Several majors in one spread usually say the matter is not being decided by your weekly choices; something is already turning. It is a signal to zoom out, not a warning.
