What we hold, and what we do not
This page describes what the site actually does today. If the site changes, this page changes with it.

You can read the whole site without an account
Every calculator, card and guide works without signing in. Nothing is gated behind an account.
Calculations are the same without an account: a birth date typed into a calculator stays in your own browser.
A form is the other case. When you ask for the meditations, your name, email and phone come to us — that is what the form is for, and it is the only thing on the site that sends anything without an account.
What an account holds
Your email address, and a password Supabase stores as a hash — we never see the password itself.
What you enter yourself: a name if you give one, a birth date, a birth time, a birth place, and your language.
What you write in the cabinet: journal entries, mood marks, morning and evening answers, and the results of exercises.
A cached copy of your reading, so the same date does not have to be recomputed on every visit.
If you connect with another person: the two accounts, what each of you agreed to share, and an invitation code.
Who else sees it
Supabase (United States) stores the database and runs sign-in.
Vercel (United States) serves the site and keeps short technical logs of requests.
Resend (United States) sends confirmation and invitation letters. It sees the address and the letter.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure visits. They do not receive your birth data or anything you write in the cabinet.
If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your address and name. We ask for nothing else.
When you search for a birth place, the search text goes to Google Places to turn a place into coordinates.
Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not hand it to advertisers.
What connections show
A connection shows nothing until both people confirm it.
Each side chooses its own level: a name, a card, or a reading. Your birth date is released only when both sides stand at the reading level.
Either side can lower the level or break the connection at any moment. Breaking it deletes the row: no record is kept of who once knew whom.
Deleting it
Write to hello@retreatcurator.com from the address on the account and we delete it.
Deleting the account deletes the profile, the journal, the daily records, the connections and the cached reading with it. This is not a promise about intent: the database is built so the rows cannot outlive the account.
Letters already sent stay in the sending service's log for a while, as they do with any mail.
Experts and their pages
An expert page is published only after a person reads it and approves it.
What an expert writes for their public page is public by design. What they keep in a draft is visible to them and to moderation only.
Children
The site is not built for people under sixteen, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
