How it works
From three facts to a text about you
Nothing mystical happens in the calculation. The astronomy is ordinary, the interpretation is where the choices live, and it helps to see where one stops and the other begins.
Date, time and place
The date sets the Sun, the clock time sets the whole wheel, the city sets your horizon. Four minutes of difference rotates the chart by one degree, so a rough time gives a rough map.
The sky becomes a wheel
An astronomical calculation freezes that exact sky and flattens it into a circle drawn from where you stood, east on the left. It is the same ephemeris data an observatory uses, drawn differently.
Planets land in signs and houses
The sign says how a part of you behaves, the house says where in life it shows up. Venus in a stubborn sign wants love slowly, Venus in the tenth house wants it visible.
The chart reads as a text about you
Then the symbols turn into sentences. A good reading sounds like an honest description of your patterns. Some lines you recognise instantly, others you argue with, and both reactions are useful.

Asked most often about astrology.
Is astrology real? Is it a science?
No, astrology is not a science. Controlled studies have not shown that charts predict events or personality better than chance, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What is real is the astronomy underneath, and the fact that a symbolic system can help you think. Treat it as a language for self-reflection, the way you would treat a good personality framework or a tarot deck, and it stays useful and honest.
What is the difference between my sun sign and my rising sign?
Your sun sign is where the Sun stood on your birthday, and it describes your core motive, what you are here to grow into. Your rising sign is the sign coming over the eastern horizon at your birth minute, and it describes your interface, how you enter rooms and how strangers read you. The Sun changes once a month, the rising changes roughly every two hours, which is why two people born the same day can feel nothing alike.
Why do horoscopes say different things on different sites?
Because most of them are written by hand, by different people, with different ideas of what a day means. Some use only the Sun, some follow the Moon, some follow nothing at all. Our daily text is generated from the real transiting position of the Moon against your sign, so at least the mechanism is stated and repeatable. Differences in wording are editorial voice, not competing truths about your Tuesday.
Can a birth chart predict my future?
No. A chart cannot name events, dates, people or outcomes, and anyone selling you that is selling you a story. What it can do is describe your standing patterns, the places you tend to overreach, the kind of pressure you handle badly, and the seasons when a familiar theme comes back around. That is enough to prepare for a hard year and not enough to skip living it.
Do I really need the exact minute of my birth?
For the Sun and most planets, no. The day is enough and they barely move. For the rising sign, the houses and the Moon on a fast day, yes, the minute matters. A birth certificate or hospital record is the best source, a parent's memory is second best. If your time is a guess, read the planets in signs confidently and hold the house placements loosely.
What if I do not know my birth time at all?
Build the chart for noon and read everything except the houses and the rising sign. You still get your Sun, Venus, Mars, Saturn and most aspects, which is the larger part of the picture. If the Moon sits near a sign boundary at noon, treat both readings as possible and see which one describes you. Rectification by life events exists, but it is guesswork dressed up as precision.
