The material comes from Espirito Santo in Brazil: amethyst and smoky and clear quartz grown together with rutile, goethite, lepidocrocite and cacoxenite. Crystal practice calls it melody stone and treats it as a complete kit — which is exactly why it became popular.

How do I know my Super Seven is real?
There is no official standard to be real against. Ask the seller for the locality and look for visible inclusions: reddish lepidocrocite, golden rutile needles, smoky and purple zones. Plain purple quartz with nothing inside is amethyst.
