Crystals for EMF
Shungite, black tourmaline and fluorite are the three sold for this, with malachite, unakite and tourmalinated quartz behind them. The honest line goes before the list, not after it. No stone shields electromagnetic radiation. There is no evidence for it, the physics does not allow it, and anyone charging extra for a shielding claim is selling you a story. What these stones can honestly be is a marker on the desk that reminds you to get off the screen.
The six
Which six stones does tradition name for this?
Six, not sixty. Each one carries a different reason, so you can pick the reason that sounds like your week rather than buying the whole row.
Shungite
The stone most associated with this claim, matte black carbon from Karelia. Treat it as a desk marker. The conductivity stories do not translate into any shielding effect.
Black Tourmaline
Sold in pairs to sit beside routers. Its honest role here is the same as everywhere, a boundary object, and the boundary in question is your working hours.
Fluorite
Banded purple and green, the study stone. On a desk it belongs to attention rather than to radiation, and that is the claim worth keeping.
Malachite
Vivid banded green, often included in these sets. Note that it is toxic as dust, so never use raw or broken pieces and never put it in drinking water.
Unakite
Pink and green speckled stone, cheap and pleasant. In this context it stands for balance between work and the rest of the day, which is the real problem.
Tourmalinated Quartz
Clear quartz threaded with black needles, the filtering stone. Placed by a monitor it is a reminder to filter the hours you spend there, nothing more.
The practice
How do you work with the set?
Give the stone one job you can check.
Put it beside the monitor and move it every time you take a real break, away from the desk and the phone.
If the stone has not moved by mid afternoon, you have your answer.
Screen tiredness comes from hours, posture and light, and those three are what the ritual addresses.

Questions
What else do people ask about this?
Does shungite block EMF?
No. Laboratory shielding needs continuous conductive material around a source, and a stone on a table is not that. As an attention ritual it is fine. As physics it does nothing.
Then why do people say they feel better?
Because the stone changes behaviour. People who buy one also take breaks, move the router and look at the window more. The improvement is real, the mechanism is just not the mineral.

Two ways on
A need is one door in, a stone is another.
Six names, and behind each one the tradition that gave it the job and the plain limit of what it cannot do. The body reads the same set differently, and the seven centres are that reading.
- 104
- stones, each with what tradition says
- 64
- everyday uses, six stones under each
- 7
- centres, the same set read through the body
